Hallucinations are where you see and hear things that arent there. Catatonia is where a person will stand in the corresponding positions for hours upon hours. A person might hold their hands in the same way for hours unless someone else moves their hands for them. Disorganized speech and animadverting is something we all experience at some point in time but someone with schizophrenia will virtually likely seem to always be disorganized.

In the book The Shepherd of The Hills Pete seems to hear things that arent there he seems to think that the trees and plants and clouds and the rest of nature is alive and talking to him. It is sad to postulate how Pete lives in such confusion.
