The Truth Behind their Marri term

At the first wo workforces design in Seneca Falls, NY, 68 women and 32 men signed a document known as the Declaration of Rights and Sentiments. This document was drafted by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, a well known figure in the womens rights movement in the late 19th century. The Declaration of Rights and Sentiments demanded women equivalence with law, education, and employment. This document upset many people especially men who believed women should be seen and not heard. Kate Chopins, The Story of an Hour, demonstrated the lack of equalities and the desire of freedom from marriages in the late 19th Century.
At a tender age women were taught how to be mothers and wives, not to entomb the roles that they must play in their family. The main character in The Story of an Hour, Mrs. Louise Mallard was married to Mr. Brently Mallard. She was a young stay at home wife with a dissipated heart. When the narrator states and yet she loves him--sometimes, they describes a troubled human relationship, a relationship that isnt based on love and may be based on conformity to the surrounding society.
