Apparently she had an public debate with her boyfriend, and was faking the collapse for attention. On impending analysis of the incident, it would appear that in union with the Arousal/ salute/Reward model as proposed by Piliavin et al (1981) that I, as a bystander initially see arousal, as my heart began to charge with the anticipation of a grievous event.

I felt concern for the person, who was of a similar like to me; thus I institute it easier to empathise with her situation, on deliberation up the cost/ pay back of helping in this situation, felt compelled to assist as I was qualified to do so. This could have been seen as be true in this instance, as there were many males around who appeared unwilling to help. An example of a situation I witnessed where bystanders (including myself) were backward to help was in a local handler station, where a homeless person, who appeared to be intoxicated; fell, causing him to declare a severe moderate injury.
